Frequently Asked Questions

What types of products can I expect to receive in my weekly CSA box?

Farm boxes are a grab bag of what’s freshest each week!

Our farm team will hand-select an assortment of freshly harvested, in-season produce and herbs to fill your CSA box. The exact contents of the box are “grower’s choice” and will depend on what we are harvesting that week, however you can expect a mixture of the following types of produce:

  • Leafy Greens: Lettuce Mix, Kale, Spinach, Arugula, Collard Greens, etc…
  • Root Vegetables: Carrots, Onions, Beets, Turnips, Radishes, and Garlic, etc…
  • Market Veggies: Tomatoes, Peppers, Scallions, Cucumbers, Squash, Beans, etc…
  • Herbs: Basil, Parsley, Cilantro, Dill, Epazote, Flor de Calabaza (Squash Blossoms), and more!

Our farm team will occasionally include surprise add-ons from our experimental garden beds, including our delicious paw-paws, microgreens, and mushrooms!

What if I want to be able to choose what types of produce I receive each week?

Don’t worry! We understand that everyone has different tastes and dietary needs. While members cannot choose exactly what will be in their boxes, we also sell our produce through an online store, where you can shop from our selection of produce and place an order that fits your needs. The online store will be open from June through November.

You can also visit our farm stand or farmers’ market booth to purchase our vegetables in-person. See our farm stand and farmers’ market schedules here.

What if I missed my pickup / can’t pick up at my normal location?

If you miss a pickup, please email our farm team at info@livingcityfarms.com. If possible, our team will work with you to reschedule your pickup at our farm in Tallmadge (695 North Ave, Tallmadge, OH). Please note, no refunds will be issued for missed pickups.

If you are unable to pick up at your scheduled location, please contact us (info@livingcityfarms.com), and we will do our best to help you find the pickup location that works best for you.

Do you accept SNAP / EBT as a form of payment?

At the moment, we are unable to directly process EBT cards as a form of payment for CSA shares. If you are a SNAP recipient and are interested in using your EBT card to purchase shares, please contact us directly by emailing info@livingcityfarms.com and we will work with you to find a payment and pickup option that works for you!
